Excellent Experience even if you are not vegan. I had the burger deluxe with a side of plantains. Everythinglooked AND tasted like it was fram-to-table fresh and the seasoning was PERFECT! The atmosphere is charming which is indicative of the ownership. It is a family-run operation and you will be treated as such. I highly recommend you make this a stop when you are in Daytona Beach.
Well, I was told about kale cafe by another restaurant that could only serve me a salad as I an all plant based diet. When I walked in the owner and their children were together at one table. I walked to the counter and could smell the amazing food they serve there. I was told I could have lasagna and then they showed all the other selections I could also have as I am also gluten free. I selected the lasagna and the black mushrooms and the plantains. The first bite was the Amazing mushrooms. I could not believe how wonderful they were. Then the lasagna. Oh my, I did not want to swallow. I wanted to enjoy it as long as I could the plantains also great. I came to only eat a little bit but ate everything on my plate. This was the first time I ate a plant based lunch and left completely satisfied. The Owners are a wonderful family and I cannot wait to experience the other foods I can eat. Don't miss this place. So glad Kale Cafe has reopened at a more spacious location on Beach Street! Andi was telling me about all their delicious food after our am workout. Camille was so gracious to let us try some items...literally everything was tasty. The hardest part is deciding what to get. You can tell everything is made fresh, healthy, and, most importantly, with LOVE. We can vouch for the vege burger, lasagna, mac & cheese, beans, watermelon, etc, etc. This is a true family business!
first time back since they moved from the original location and was so excited to stop in! food is just as good as I remember. staff is super friendly and helpful, they let you sample menu items and explain what goes into them. sorrel juice, buffalo soldier sandwich & mac and cheese are my favorite but you can’t go wrong

This place is great! They have excellent food, a cool location, and wonderful owners. Try the bbq seitan, seitan Philly, veggie burger, and kale salad. You will not be disappointed! Love this place!

Kale Cafe is one of the few local places that you can get a healthy meal that tastes like love and happiness. All of the food is delicious. The juices and smoothies are not loaded with sugar and everything is so fresh. My favorite is the Mac-N-Sheez, it's so flavorful, creamy and delicious! Have some kale salad while you're there and grab a bottle of dressing to take home. The family that owns Kale Cafe are awesome people who care so much about the community and they have a wonderful staff!
